CURRENT REQUIREMENTS TO RENEW YOUR FM-2 MIGRATORY VISA    

 

PLEASE READ CAREFULLU AND FOLLOW EACH STEP.  If you provide us the following documents described below, we should have no problems renewing your FM-2 migratory status.

1.  We need your individual FM-2 original plus one copy from pages 1 - 12

2.  Original U.S. passport plus. We will make necessary copies .


3.  Copy from your last bank statement, either from a U.S. orMexican account, accounts must show an average balance of $ 1,200 Dls for   a   single  person or $ 1,800 for a couple


4.  Proof of Residency: for renewal, showing a utility bill of Mexico: (electric, water, phone).


5. Official Immigration Government fees are $ 2,801 (pesos) approx.(Fees vary every 3 months). All these fees are payable directly at any local Bank.

6. Five black and white photos (FM2 miniture size only). Three front and two right profiles. Please remove your glasses before taking pictures. WE highly recommned a place in Rosarito that take the correct ones.

7. Marriage certificate must be translated into Spanish, plus must be certefied ("Appostille"), please note: The (Apostille) must be done in the State in which you were married! There is an additional charge for service fee and translating.


IMPORTANT NOTE:  p For all renewals, you must do practically the same thing as when you acquired your first FM-3 the FM-2 MUST be renewed for next five year period. You must renewe the FM-2 BEFORE the expiration date shown in your official form. Early renewal avoids penalties. To make the application (s) go smoothly, it's recommended that you give us your "Power of Attorney"
