WE HIGHLY SUGGEST READ AND FOLLOW EACH STEP:
1). We need your individual FM-3 original, plus one copy from pages 1 - 12 2). Original U. S. passport plus, we will make all necessary copies.
3). Copy of your bank statament, either from U. S. or Mexican account. Accounts must show an average balance of $ 1200 Dls. for a single person or $ 1800 Dls. for a couple. If you are a property owner, we highly advice to legalize your immigration status in Mexico
4). Proof a residency: For all renewals, show a utility bill of Mexico; (Water, Electric or Phone)
5). Official Immigration Government fees are $ 1,294 (pesos) approx. (fees vries every three months. ALL these fees are payable directly at any local bank branch. In addition, an administration fee and translating.
6). An appointment is essential to fulfill all legal requirements. To make this application (s) go smoothly, it's recommended that you give us your "Power of Attorney" and renewal must be done before the expiration date (at least 30 days) to comply with local immigration rules.
With the above documentation, we should have no problem renewing your FM-3 We'll even help you fill out the INAMI application (National Institute of Immigration application) There's an additional charge for service fee and translating.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If your first FM-3 has expired and you need one for another five years, you'll need to take a new set of photos. Remeber, this are special size photos and we have a place to recommend to the the correct ones.
BENEFIT TO REDUCE YOUR CAPITAL GAINS TAXES: It's highly recommended to immediately change the current owner's name (s) in ALL your utility bill (s). This will definitely help you minimize your capital gains taxes.
